Chapter Philanthropy
MashBash
Every year before Thanksgiving, Alpha Sig and Chi Omega join forces to host MashBash. Teams of four compete in a food eating competition of mashed potatos, stuffing, cranberry, and gravy. The winning team takes home a prize donated by a local establishment. Money is raised through entry fees and donations. This money goes to the Chi Omega/Make-A-Wish(r) Alliance and LIVESTRONG, Alpha SIgma Phi's national philanthropy.
Water Wars
The annual relay competition involving all water activities raises money for four national philanthropies. Alpha Sig, Lambda Chi Alpha, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Alpha Sigma Alpha raise money for LIVESTRONG, the North American Food Drive, Reading is Fundamental, and the Special Olympics.
